hands-216982_1280“They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.”  (Psalm 145:7 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.)

My husband and I have been jotting remarks and answering questions in a book entitled, “A Grandparents Book:  Answers to a Grandchild’s Questions” for our granddaughters.  This book takes us back to our birth; time born and how much we weighed;  school days; friends we had; games we played in school, etc., are included.

The last few pages are entitled “Between Us.”  The last page asks “Whom do you love?  What do you love?”

We want our grandchildren to know that Jesus has been the best thing that ever happened to us.  The answer to those last questions would be that we love our God and the Church he established on earth.  Without Him it would be a sad story of events, but His great goodness and righteousness has made our lives beautiful!

Prayer:  Thank You, Lord, for giving us life.  For giving us parents to care for us.  Even in the sorrows we encountered we still have wonderful memories of Thy great goodness and Your righteousness!  Amen!
