Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son. (Genesis 18:14, ESV)
Even when it didn’t look like Sarah would get her promise of a son, God had a plan for her. In God’s timing she would get her son and He would become a great leader. Sometimes we feel like we are working so hard and see no results. The truth is, we don’t know what God is doing behind the scenes. As long as we are working for Him and praying for His will to be done, God will come through. He has the habit of going above and beyond our expectations. Trust in his timing and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Prayer: So many times we find ourselves rushing through life just praying that You will hurry up and give us what we want. Thank you, Lord, for your perfect timing and knowing exactly what we need. We trust in your plan for us. In Jesus name, amen.
