“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
Jesus said He is the vine and we are the branches and without Him, we can do nothing. It’s very important to stay connected to Him.
The vine offers strength and nourishment to the branches. When the branches become disconnected from their source of strength, they die. God can do without man, but man cannot do without God. I want to stay connected to Him!
Prayer: Lord, I want to keep holding to Your nail-scarred hand. I don’t want to lose the connection I have with You! Amen!
