“Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible)
The Message reads, “Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything” (Psalm 46:10).
Being still is required to really know God. Prayer and meditation help us look up and away from the difficulties of life to the Heavens and exalt His wonderful name!
Find time to step out of the busyness of life and reflect on His goodness and mercy.
Prayer: I am so glad that I know You, God. Thank You for Your bountiful blessings to me and my family during this season of Thanksgiving!
