God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.” (Genesis 17:15-16, NIV)
God wants to bless each one of us beyond what we can imagine. There is no way Sarah and Abraham could have dreamed of what God wanted to do through them. Even following the promise He had given them, I’m sure there were moments of doubt and confusion. Even so, Abraham and Sarah continued to trust in God.
God gives us promises and shows us things that we may have a hard time to believe. Know that if you continue to believe in what He says, He will use you mightily!
Prayer: Lord, I thank you for trusting us to do Your work. I pray for the desire to continue seeking You and Your will for my life. In Jesus name, amen.
