“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:” (Acts 9:3 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.)
Saul was on his way breathing out threats to Christians. He planned on killing more of them when he was knocked down in the middle of the road.

I read this on a church sign this morning, “God Allows Spiritual U-Turns.” My mind went immediately to Saul. He made a total turn around. A change of plans for Saul.

Maybe you know someone who is headed the wrong way. God knows how to turn them around. U-turns are required at times on the road of life.

We have a modern-day Saul in our church who was wreaking havoc in the neighborhood where he lived. His grandmother was faithful to God and always requested prayer for him. A few months ago he came in the church, but this time, Ryan had turned the right way. What a change! He now feels called to ministry.

Prayer: Nothing is impossible with You, Lord. I pray that You would allow a spiritual U-Turn in the lives of all those in our cities who need You. Your Spirit can draw them back to You. In Jesus Name, Amen!
