But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ’s power over me. I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10, GWT)

When trials come our way, we are quick to ask the Lord to take them from us. Who would want to go through hardships? You have to trust that God has a plan. If life were always a walk in the park, we would never get to see the miracles God has the ability to perform. As painful as the trials can be, when God decides to pull us out of that trial, we will be taken to a place in our relationship with Him that wouldn’t have been possible before. Remember, when we are weak, He is strong. If you walk through your battle believing that, you will be able to face anything that comes your way.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that you will walk with us through the hard times. Give us the strength and courage we need to make it through whatever comes before us. We love You and trust that You always have a plan for us. In Jesus name, amen.
