Jesus performed a miracle healing a young girl. He continued to His destination, but He and the disciples were not alone. Two desperate people followed, then intruded into the home where Jesus was a guest. He didn’t ignore them or have them thrown into the street. He questioned their faith, not their unfavorable social etiquette.
“When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, ‘Son of David, have mercy on us!’ And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’ Then He touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith let it be to you.’ ” (Matthew 9:26-29 from the Holy Bible New King James).
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for Your continual healing touch for those who believe in You today. Amen.
