cross-828894_1280“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them!” (Revelation 12:11-12a in the New King James Version of the Holy Bible).

There is an ultimate contest going on between the forces of good and the forces of evil. This epic struggle will eventually be won by the hosts of Heaven. These verses outline the truth about achieving victory that we can apply to our lives today:

  • Victory will not come without a fight. There is no success without sacrifice. There is a cost for every crown. It is the blood of Jesus Christ and the witness of the believers that will bring victory to the Lord’s side!
  • Victory requires unity. We cannot overcome alone. God designed us to win together.
  • Victory must be celebrated. The greater the victory, the bigger the celebration. Don’t wait until the battle is over – shout now!

Prayer: Mighty God,despite the despair my current situation may bring, I can say with confidence that victory is ultimately mine. Thank you for the blood you shed on Calvary that purchased my salvation. Thank you for reminding me that we are better together. I choose to be selfless in outlook and united in purpose with other believers. I rejoice in hope of victory! Amen.
