Truth

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again “I’ve got my mind made up!” Sometimes in a positive “I’m serving God no matter what” type of way, and other times in a “I’m stubborn and you won’t ever change my mind” kind of way.

Most people believe that what they believe is right, and that their opinion matters most. This world is full of opinions and opinionated people, all believing they are right. But there is only ONE truth, and ONE name under heaven whereby we must be saved!

It all starts in the mind! If you pursue truth, and desire to know what is real and what isn’t, God will bless that! He wants us to ask questions, and study and seek out that which is true.

If we allow Him to work on our minds, He will transform us into a new person. A person that is more like Him, a person who loves the lost and shows compassion to all.

Then we will know His will for our lives, and to know His will is good, and perfect and pleasing!

Allow God to work on your mind today, and surrender all opinions, thoughts and ideas.

Lord, help me to recognize truth and to turn from deceit and that which is false. Help me to have wisdom and to allow you to work on my mind today. I want Your perfect will for my life.
