And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Joshua 10:8, “And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.” This scripture explains that God gave Joshua a promise that He was going to give Israel victory over the opposing armies.  Conquering the kingdoms that were in opposition to Gibeon, and by extension Joshua and his men, will eventually gift Israel a kingdom of their own and they will one day make Jerusalem the city where God will place His name.
