Have you ever felt alone or forsaken? Maybe, you are the only emotional, physical and financial resource for your household. If you don’t kiss the hurt knee, it won’t be comforted. If you don’t clean the house, it will stay dirty. If you don’t pay the rent, you will all be living on the street. There is someone who wants to help you.

READ: Hebrews 13:5-6, from the Holy Bible, King James Version.

“I (the Lord) will never leave thee, nor forsake thee…The Lord is my helper…”

The Lord Jesus Christ wants to help you. But He is a gentlemen, He will only go where He is invited. Will you invite Him into your life today?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I invite you into my loneliness and daily struggles. Quiet my mind. Comfort my spirit. Provide for me and my family. Create in me a desire to know you better. Show me today, in a tangible way, that you never leave me.

“Help Wanted” signs are posted when laborers are needed at businesses. In Romans 16, the Apostle Paul recognized those who had assisted him in the work of God.

“Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:” Romans 16:3 (in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).

Apparently Paul had never forgotten this wonderful couple who assisted Him. In Romans 16:10, he wrote of more helpers, “Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.” We don’t find another mention of Urbane and Stachys in the Bible, but Paul knew how valuable they were to him. The position of helper is held in high regard throughout Scripture.

Heaven has posted a help wanted sign. People are still needed to accomplish the work of God’s Kingdom on the earth.

Prayer: My heart is overwhelmed today, as I recall all those who have helped me in my life. Those who have come alongside me to help in various capacities are invaluable. There are some things we can’t do alone. When I needed help, Lord, You sent helpers to assist me.
