- Thank you is one of the first phrases a child learns from a parent after please. The Psalmist tells us to make thanksgiving a habit each time we enter into the presence of the Lord. This reminder is more than a lesson in etiquette. On this day dedicated to gratitude, it is a must-do, top-of-the-list reminder for the children of God.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name (Psalm 100:4, Holy Bible, King James).
