“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” Leviticus 6:13. Daily Bible reading has been in Leviticus this week. The Israelites were given so many rules to follow concerning the sacrifices they would make to God. The animal had to be without blemish, and specific for whatever offering it was being used for. There were lists of what was required for different sins they committed. The priest had to follow specific procedures for each offering.
