The four living creatures… do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” Revelation 4:8, NKJV.

Right now as you read this devotion there is an angelic host worshiping our Savior saying, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” We may not hear them, but they are continually singing this praise to the King of kings and Lord of Lords.

Revelation 4:8 proves that God’s power and authority extend from eternities past to the eternity that is yet to come. God operates outside of the sphere of the natural realm. He moves in the realm of the supernatural.

You and I are human beings. I am “a being.” But, God supersedes us, He is “Being.” Our God has no creator but is the Creator.

He encapsulates everything in this world, in the universe, and the galaxies. Everything from the 8.2 billion species of insects that were created on the 6th day of creation, to the vast amount of animals that roam the earth and rule the sea; from the natural and beautiful wonders of the world; including every blade of grass, flower, tree, mountain range, and waterfall, demonstrates a piece of God’s being.

If we add every bit of humanity’s knowledge, intelligence, ingenuity, and invention, it would be just a finite speck of the mind of God. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. He knows who you are and sees where you area—whatever you’re going through is not beyond God’s power.

Heavenly hosts in Isaiah 6:3 cry, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”

God’s glory is everywhere. There is no place in the world or in the universe that is not in God’s jurisdiction.

The ancient pagan world had different princes, geographical areas, different cosmic regions (heaven, earth, netherworld), and different aspects of life (war, fertility, harvest). The pagan world depended on a multiplicity of gods to meet various needs in their lives. However, our God is diametrically different from every other false god in this world. He stands alone, He alone is worthy, He is above all gods, and He is the head of all principality and power. Our God can meet your needs without assistance from you or anyone else.

Join with God’s angelic chorus today and cry out, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come.” Sing, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory.”

Declare that He is Almighty today and that He is a God who operates from the end to the beginning and from the beginning to the end. Let all of creation hear you proclaim that the whole earth is full of His glory. You will feel His dominion when you speak His word into existence. His word has power today; your praise has power today; and most of all, our God is all-powerful.
