Maybe today you feel like you’re at the end of what you can take. Your world has fallen apart. There are more questions than answers. God is there and He will help you go on.
The year was 1966 and my husband was in the Air Force stationed in Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. His spirits were down and someone suggested he go to the chapel on the base. When he stepped into the chapel, he noticed a large picture showing the base. All around the base was the Lord with outstretched hands as if He were holding Cam Ranh Bay. Underneath the picture was this scripture:
“…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:20 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.)
When my husband felt like his world had ended, he found comfort in knowing that God knew where he was. God was interested in him.
No matter where you are God is there! The word “Amen” at the end of this scripture means “so be it”.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for being there for my husband even before I knew Him, You saw him and protected him in Vietnam.
