“The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.” Psalm 145:9, NIV
We have had a lot of snow and cold weather this winter, and it seems like we have been spending a lot of time inside. So naturally, at this point we are thinking about Spring, when we can get out for long walks, when the snow will be gone, and when flowers again appear.
How wonderful to look out my window a couple of days ago and see three robins sitting on the tree in the yard. That is always a sign that winter will soon be over.
I thought of how God cares for all the creatures He has made. He tells the birds when it is time to return from the South and look for a place to build their nests for another year. If he cares so much for the birds, then how much more He cares for you and me. Truly He is good to all and shows His compassion and His love to us every day.
Prayer: Lord, I think you that you had compassion on me, showed me your love, and that you daily meet my needs.
