“And we know that all things work together for good to those that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
We use this scripture all the time. There is something so comforting about it. Life is full of bumps, turns and blind hills – we will fall, stumble, pick ourselves back up; we will go through the good, bad and the ugly. As long as we continue loving Him, we have nothing to fear. He’s got our back!
Prayer: God, I may never know why things happen the way they do. What I do know, is that everything happens for a reason. You have each and every one of us in the palm of your hand. You see our joy and you see our sorrow. You allow us to go through things from which we learn so much. Help me live according to your purpose for my life. Thank you, Jesus, for loving me!
