“You make known to me the path of life: in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11 KJV).
I have an app on my cell phone that tells me the number of steps I have taken daily. Sometimes I fall short of my 10,000-step goal. There are days I exceed my goal, but it’s all up to me.
The Psalmist had learned a few things about the path of life. God led him on the path. His steps were ordered by the Lord and when he followed Him, he found real joy!
David was close enough to God that he could see pleasure and happiness eternally at His right hand.
Prayer: Order my steps in Your Word, Lord. You have a plan for my life. Both the beginning and the end are set. I want to follow where You lead me. Amen!
