Let me hear about your mercy in the morning, because I trust you. Let me know the way that I should go, because I long for you. (Psalm143:8, God’s Word Edition)
If I could change one thing about myself, I would definitely become more of a morning person. I would give anything to be the kind of person who gets up singing with the birds. Going to bed at a decent hour would help me in my journey to becoming a morning person, but even that may be a long shot.
There really is something to waking up early. When you get up early, you allow yourself to spend time with the Lord before the constant hustle and bustle of the day has a chance to distract you. Starting off in the Word is a great way to create a filter for the rest of your day.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for constantly reminding us of your love and mercy. Every single day You direct us and without You we would be completely lost!
