2 Corinthians 10:5 declares, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” Our minds are so powerful, they can allow untruths to take root to where we will begin to believe a lie.…

Years ago in a math class I discovered something that still helps me more than 50 years later. The teacher told the class that if you had a negative you could add a positive in the same amount and it would cancel out the negative. I have a friend who sings this little song to her children every day. “You’ve got to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative. Latch on to the affirmative, Don’t mess with Mr. In-Between.” The positive is powerful. Satan knows it is and that’s why he wants to keep us dwelling in the negative.
Prayer: Lord, today I pray 2 Corinthians 10:5 “…and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” In Jesus’ Name I can control what I think about. When negative thoughts occur, I will throw in a positive one and zero out that negative thought. Positive is powerful!
