If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? (Matthew 18:12 Holy Bible, New Living Translation).
- If a family member, friend or someone from your community goes missing, a search gets underway. Panic turns to organized involvement and support. Volunteers forget daily routine and concentrate on the search. Jesus told the story of the missing sheep as a reminder that the ninety-nine are safe. He leaves the flock to search for one lost sheep. If you’ve wandered away from the Great Shepherd, rescue is on the way.
- Prayer : Lord, I need Your caring touch to carry me back to safety. Amen.
