“The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you” (Jeremiah 31:3, Holy Bible, New King James).
Time is measured in precise increments but may seem different depending upon the event in progress. When an occasion is enjoyable, an hour passes quickly. Ten minutes drag by when a tragedy occurs. Jeremiah reminds us that God’s love is unlimited. No matter what the circumstance, He is there for us. His love is everlasting.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for this reminder that Your love is unlimited. Amen.
