“And being in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious: and she brake the box, and poured it on his head” (Mark 14:3 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible). Jesus does not break and enter houses where he is not welcome. It’s my desire to always have the welcome mat out for Jesus at my house. He longs to be with my family and yours. He wants to come to our living quarters and dwell there. Miracles happen when Jesus is invited in. Simon knew what Jesus had done for him and wanted to host His presence. Is the welcome mat out for the Lord Jesus at your house?

Prayer: Jesus, You are welcome in my home. I love having You stay here. Your presence brings peace, joy and love to our household.
