“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” Colossians 3:15

This going to be a little different.  I woke up Friday morning remembering that I needed to write a devotional for both Saturday and Sunday.  The word “Thankful” came into my mind and I felt that I should express my thanks to some special people.

First, I want to thank the Lord for the privilege of being part of this More to Life ministry.  I am honoured to be able to share what the Lord puts on my heart each month.  Knowing that I need to come up with new messages, keeps me consistent in my Bible Study and prayer every day.  The Lord has been so faithful to me by opening His Word in ways I could not comprehend.

A special thanks today to our Administrator and Director, Julie Long.  She arranges our schedule so that we know ahead of time when we need to put our articles on Word Press.  She sends us encouraging reports of how these articles are being received around the world.  She inspires us to write what is on our hearts and let the Lord use us in His service.  And we all appreciate it when she adds some of her great writing on the Guest Writers’ week. Thank you, Julie.

All of us who write are different, we have different approaches to passages in Scripture and that is what makes each week unique.  I love and appreciate my fellow writers. A special Thank You goes out to Caitlin Walker, Mary Loudermilk, and Angela Overton.  I admire your knowledge of the Word of God and the way you express it each month.  You keep me on my toes, digging for nuggets from the Word, and finding ways to expound on them. I know you are praying along with me that we will all be a blessing as we are used in this ministry. Though we have never met face to face, I am sure that God has put us together for a purpose.

And last, but not least, a big, big Thank You to all our precious sisters who read these articles day after day, share them with your friends, and pray for us who write them.  Without you, it would all be of no value.  I pray that the Lord will bless each one of you and direct your steps each day.

Prayer: Jesus thank you for all your blessings and mercy to us.  Thank you that we can study your Word together and grow in grace and love.  May your hand be upon each one today.
