“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2

From time to time the Lord inspires me to put my thoughts into verse. They are simple things that mean a lot to me. So, I am going to share one that the Lord gave to me during this time of isolation.

I have found a place of rest when the storm clouds hover near.
Though the future may look dark, I am free from doubt and fear.

Today I may pass through the waters, and the floods may overflow.
Jesus will guide me ever safely in the way that I should go.

In His everlasting arms I rest. Safe secure from every ill.
Knowing that His Word is true, and every promise He will fulfill.

“Fear not, for I am with thee,” His voice rings loud and clear.
“Just cast your cares upon Me and know that I am near.”

As I raise my hands in worship and lift my voice in praise.
My heart is filled with peace and joy that will stay with me always.

I have found a place of rest, safe within the Saviour’s arms.
Storms of life may rage around me, but He keeps me from all harm.

I pray that it will be a blessing to someone today. Maybe you are struggling with something and you feel that you are all alone. Remember, Jesus is always there, waiting to hear your cry for help. He understands just what you are going through and will lift the burden and give you peace. In my Devotional book this morning, I read: “We have access to as much of God as we have faith to receive.” How true that is.

Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Prayer: Lord if there is someone out there needing rest and peace today, hear their cry and may they feel your everlasting arms lifting them up and strengthening them anew.
