Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Life is uncertain. The winds and waves of everyday situations and experiences can leave us struggling to cope with the changes that occur daily. Sickness, financial troubles, children struggling at school, a rocky marriage, the list is endless!
The Word of God is filled with promises and Jeremiah 29:11 lets us know that God knows exactly where He wants to take us. When we are able to look beyond the day-to-day distractions we face and look up, we are able to see God’s hand at work in our lives. He leads us through valleys and also through mountaintop experiences. The wilderness you are traveling through is holy and God ordained. Allow Him to speak to you and surrender yourself to His perfect timing and perfect plan for your life.
Trust in His Word and know that God is leading you somewhere specific and this is just a season. Life changes, but our everlasting God does not!
Prayer: Lord, help me to look beyond only what I can see, and to look to You and know that You are directing my steps. You have an expected end for me, and I rejoice in that today. Amen.
