“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways” (Psalm 91:11 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).
Saturday was a frustrating day as I looked everywhere for a set of keys with my husband’s truck key on it. Bill had taken our van for an out-of-town trip that day to teach a Bible college class 90 miles away. When he returned about 3:00 PM from his trip, we discovered the missing keys lying on the van seat.
Rather than driving the truck as originally planned, I left in the van at 4:45 PM headed for the Easter program practice at our church. My husband stopped by twenty minutes later to tell me that God had been the reason for the missing truck keys. Bill told me how the truck accelerator stuck as he was driving it. He managed to go around the church and bring the vehicle to a stop without incident. Maybe you don’t believe in angels, but I do!
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for your divine intervention in what could have been a tragic accident. Angels certainly were in our neighborhood and I want to tell You how thankful I am! Amen.
