Rising before dawn, there is nothing more glorious than the first glimpse of sunrise when light seeps through darkness and infuses the landscape with color. The sun arcs at midday before the routine descent begins. At evening, the glowing sun disappears with a flourish of spectacular color in the repetitious sundown cycle. The Psalmist honored the majesty of God with this declaration, “From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name is to be praised, (Psalm 113:3, Holy Bible, King James Version). Morning, evening or anytime is a good time to praise the Lord!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Your glory is reflected in sunrise and sundown. Your name is worthy to be praised at all times. Amen.
