And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. (1 Samuel 30:6, KJV)
Sometimes we encounter situations that are difficult to deal with. As nice as it is to have someone by your side in these moments, you don’t need someone to be right there to say the right things. When he have the Holy Spirit living within us, he gives us the power we need to get through anything that comes our way. Delight yourself in Him and move forward in the plan that God has for you.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the strength to get through anything that comes my way. I pray that you will help us to be confident in ourselves, knowing that you are always with us and working through us. Amen.
