“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Yesterday, I wrote about being faithful to bring our tithes and offerings to the Lord, and that He would supply all our needs and never leave us forsaken.

When our younger son decided to go to Bible School, my husband was no longer employed. The Lord had provided me with a good job for which I am thankful, but we knew that it was going to take extra finances in order to pay for his schooling. We were willing to trust the Lord to meet the need and He came through in a miraculous way. For the two years, my son was in school, I was able to work some overtime hours every week. When the two years was up, the overtime ended. We serve a God who always comes through.

Recently I listened via podcast to my son preaching a message on giving God the first fruits and telling how the Lord had blessed him and his family because they put God first. I was reminded once again of how the Lord had taught us that lesson so many years ago, and how He had blessed us for our faithfulness.

Every sacrifice we made has been worth it, to see the way the Lord has blessed my son’s ministry and is using him to proclaim the message of giving God the very best and trusting Him to stretch what is left to meet every need. He owns the cattle on the thousand hills, and He will always make a way, and supply every need, if we trust Him.

Prayer: Thank you. Jesus for your faithfulness to supply all our needs, if we put you first in our lives and are faithful to you.
