jer2911“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”  (Jeremiah 29:11 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible)

I have trouble looking at an architect’s plans and visualizing the outcome.  The blueprints just look like lines and squares to me.  However, the architect uses them to make dreams come true in both small and massive buildings.

Our devotional verse is displayed on my mantle.  As I cleared the Christmas decorations, it was placed on the mantle and will remain there.  It’s my verse for 2017.

The Master architect has plans for me in 2017.  Unbelievable plans that my mind cannot comprehend.  Rest assured that He knows and that’s all that matters.

Once again I am dealing with breast cancer.  His Word declares that His plans are for my good.  The blueprint for my life is puzzling at times, but He knows.  Every detail He knows.

This verse in The Message Bible reads, “I know what I’m doing.  I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”

Prayer:  Lord, I trust in You.  When I don’t understand, I still trust that You know what’s best for me.  Thank You for Your Word that gives me confidence in You. I am assured that ALL things work together for good.  I am in good hands so I leave this in Your hands.
