“So the people of Israel did as they were told. Some gathered a lot, some only a little. But when they measured it out, everyone had just enough. Those who gathered a lot had nothing left over, and those who gathered only a little had enough. Each family had just what it needed.” (Exodus 16:17-18 from the NLT of the Holy Bible)

The people of Israel complained about not having enough food and basically wished to be back in the land of slavery. Reading about the Israelites always amazes me. They were delivered and yet how many times do we find them whining about what God had done for them? God, as merciful as He is, answered their groans  and provided them with Manna and Quail.

God is the ultimate provider. No person is exempted from needing God to provide in multiple areas of their lives. For some, the need may be monetary. For others, perhaps they are in need of a healing. No matter the situation, God can and will supply. He always has and He always will.

Prayer: If I were asked to count the times that You have come through for me, I would be counting forever. Too many times have I negated the love that You have shown me through Your provision. I am blessed beyond measure and I could not ask for more. Thank you, Jesus!
