“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” (Psalm 32:7, KJV)
It is really hard to find peace. Our world is loud, chaotic and stressful to say the least. To find a place of complete serenity can only be done if you make time to pray and seek God. It is in Him that we can feel secure even when our surroundings are making us feel otherwise. Both in the good and bad times we need to make sure that we save time to get ourselves in His presence because without it, becoming overwhelmed is inevitable.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the peace that we can find only in you. I will forever regret the years that I wasted trying to figure everything out on my own. Forgive us, Lord, for not putting our faith and trust in you. In Jesus name, amen.
