When I was a kid, our family was not well off. For whatever reason, much of the time we just scraped by. But, my parent’s faith never wavered, and I learned many valuable lessons through those trying times.
In particular, I remember a time when we didn’t have enough money to buy food. It was the middle of the winter and there was fresh snow on the ground. I don’t know what prompted my mother to go to the door, but, when she opened it, there were bags of groceries on our steps. The freshly fallen snow on the steps and surrounding area had not been disturbed. We knew that it could only have been God and He received all of the glory!
If someone who doesn’t believe in miracles were to hear that story, they would be skeptical and most likely accuse my mother of daydreaming. But, it was as real as the words you are reading on this page.
Our God cares for us! He cares about our needs and He wants to meet them. So, if what you are praying for seems impossible, let your faith rise up, and let your trust in God be secure.
Ephesians 3:20 (The Message) says:
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
Let God’s Word give you confidence that whatever you need, no matter how big or small it may seem to your human mind; God can do ANYTHING!! And, your need falls into that category!
Prayer: Dear Lord, hear the cry of Your people and meet their needs according to Your riches, Your power, and Your love. In Jesus’ mighty name, let faith arise!
