In the coming weeks there is the possibility that people will be more at odds with one another, throwing hate filled words at each other like rocks.
The world is in chaos, and the church is being called to arise in the midst of it all. So what should our response be? Love.
Our prayer should be that we view others as God views them. We cannot allow ourselves to be forced apart by opposing political views, beliefs and morals. We are called to love as Christ loves, it really is the most important thing.
Don’t allow fear to dominate your thoughts today. Don’t succumb to the insanity of society, but rather stand firm on God’s word, and trust that He is still in control.
God is never taken by surprise, and He still reigns. He is holding you in the palm of His hand today. Allow yourself to find rest and peace there as He goes before you!
God, I’m thankful that You are still in control. I don’t understand everything that is happening in this world, but I do know that You reign and are victorious!
