“I give you all the credit, God – you got me out of that mess, you didn’t let my foes gloat” Psalm 30:1 (The Message version of the Holy Bible).
Messes are a part of life. I clean my house and within a matter of hours – sometimes just a few minutes, someone makes a mess. The Psalmist David was in a mess, but God got him out. The truth of the matter is we were all in a mess. But God, saw something in us that He could remake to be useful for His Kingdom. If that doesn’t make you feel good today, I don’t know what will! Take a few minutes to thank God for bringing you out!
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for reaching down and lifting me out of the deep miry clay and setting me on the Rock, Christ Jesus!
