Many of us have a fear of being alone. I am probably most guilty when it comes to never wanting to do things by myself. I’m the girl who feels terrible when I walk into a restaurant and see somebody eating by themselves!
Having God in our lives is such a comfort. Knowing that I am never truly alone is beyond encouraging. Him being by my side helps me get through the bad times, and it makes the good times that much better. He holds me up when I’m falling; comforts me when I’m hurting; carries me when I am weak. He truly is a friend that sticks closer than a brother!
Prayer: I know that this world will let me down. I am thankful today that even when I am not feeling the best, You are by my side to comfort me. My heart is full of joy when I think of all that You have done in my life. I am strong because You make me strong! Thank you, Jesus!
