“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

Over the last few weeks there has been a lot of news about plastics, and how they are trying to ban the use of plastic straws, etc. A little over a hundred years ago, in 1907, the first plastic was invented and since then it has been used extensively. It has been considered a good thing for all these years and is used in almost every area of our lives.

I was thinking about this and how over the years so many things keep changing. A product is considered something good for us, and then someone comes up with the idea that it is no longer good but detrimental. For awhile a certain food is what we all need to keep healthy, and then someone decides that it is no longer good for us.

In a world that keeps changing its mind about so many things, I am so glad that there is a truth that never changes, something that remains consistent. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. The love He showed for us by going to the Cross is the same love He shows towards us today, and that love will continue throughout eternity. His blood still flows to cleanse a sinner’s heart, His Spirit still abides to comfort and keep us every day, and His promise that we can spend eternity with Him still holds true.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus that you never change and that we can rely on your promise to always be with us.

Thank you for your kind response. I was feeling a bit concerned about my writing this week, wondering if it really was a blessing to others and your comment along with some others, gives me the encouragement I need to keep on contributing.

We put key words on for each devotional that should reflect what we have written about. I was of the impression that when you clicked on that key word, you would find other articles that dealt with the same subject, or that same key words were used. Other than that I am not sure how to help you. Maybe we need to be more consistent with the tag words we use. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His care.

Thank you for your quick response to my comment. As mentioned, it uplifts our spirit especially living here in Saudi Arabia. Hoping and praying that the LORD will give you more wisdom so you can continue writing that will give encouragement to others. I will try adain to click on each keyword probably the signal is not that good that is why nothing appears each time i try to press the keyword.
Again, may the good LORD continue to bless you.
