“You’ve seen a lot, but looked at nothing. You’ve heard everything, but listened to nothing.” Isaiah 42:20 MSG My oldest daughter is at that age where she talks a lot, and I mean a lot. She has slowly morphed from a shy, timid little girl into a social, chatty butterfly.…
“Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him . ” (Psalm 37:7, ESV) Are you a good listener? Sometimes we mistake hearing as being the same as listening. We may use the words interchangeably, but there is a difference. Hearing is the perception of sound. Listening involves understanding the…
For which I [Paul] suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. (II Timothy 2:9, NKJV) The apostle Paul sat in a prison cell, and not for the first time. As he penned a letter to Timothy, his beloved friend…

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).
Prayer: Keep me on the right road, I pray. If I do stray, remind me that You are ready and waiting to respond to my cry for help. Order my steps, Lord! Amen.
