And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. (Matthew 22:37, ESV) We hear this scripture quoted all the time. Do we actually know what it means to love Him with all our heart,…
“Let brotherly love continue.” (Hebrews 13:1 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.)
I recently saw a church sign that read, “Attitudes are contagious!” How true. I would go one step further and say, “Attitudes are highly contagious!”
Observe those around you wherever you go today. We affect each other in ways we are not even aware of. A smile will cause the next person to smile. Grumbling about the produce will cause others to join in and only make matters worse.
I often told my children that their attitudes were showing. Believe you me it’s worse than having your slip hanging below your skirt! Watch the way one child reacts when another child takes his toy. The fight is on; pulling and screaming ensues.
Prayer: Jesus, help me to be quick to pass on love and peace that comes from You. Thank You for the love that exist in the church. Don’t let this love ever be interrupted but let it continue. In the midst of chaos let me breathe Your name. Amen!

“For God so loved the world. that he gave his only begotten son. that whosoever believeth on him shall not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible).
Love is a gift. You can’t buy it,
You can’t find it,
Someone has to give it to you.
Learn to be receptive of that gift.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (Matthew 22:37, KJV) We sing songs about surrendering all to Him but do we truly know what that means? To commit ourselves to Him to…

“The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you” (Jeremiah 31:3, Holy Bible, New King James).
Time is measured in specific increments but may seem different depending upon the event in progress. When an event is enjoyable, time passes quickly. The same amount of time seems like an eternity when a tragedy occurs. Jeremiah reminds us that God’s loving kindness has no limits. No matter what the circumstances, He is there for us with His gift of timeless love.
Prayer: Lord, Jeremiah’s reminder of Your everlasting love blesses me with invisible hugs. Amen.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” Matthew 22:37 A few weeks ago, I was listening to a message by Dr. David Jeremiah and he made this statement: “It is impossible to…
“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones” (Proverbs 16:24). “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” Anyone remember whispering this to themselves on the playground when bullies would hurl unkind words your way? At the time…
