Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105 I remember the exact moment when I finished reading though the Bible for the first time. I was in my second year at Bible College and I was snuggled in bed. Up to this…
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Matthew 5:14. I’m one of those weird people who love a power outage; I think it’s fun to get off the grid for a few hours, playing a board game, reading a…
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:11. “Life without books is like an unsharpened pencil…it has no point.” When I saw this quote recently,…
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105 Do you ever feel apprehensive to allow God to guide your footsteps? I most definitely have. One reason is because God doesn’t reveal all the details of His plan and that is intimidating. I like details,…

As we walk through life, we can lose our way too. Darkness can descend and which way to go is no longer clear.
Prayer: Dear God, You told us that Your Word is our light. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). Thank You for giving us direction, hope, and reassurance.
