“Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house; I will worship at your Temple with deepest awe.”
Psalms 5:7
Have you ever gone to someone’s house or an event and instantly regretted it? I know, that sounds a little harsh but there are just some places you go that you feel out of place, awkward and uncomfortable.
I’m an awkward person in general so when this happens to me, I want to hide in a corner until I can finally go home. I can’t be the only one who has ever felt like this right?
I do have one place in this world that I can go and never, ever have to worry about feeling unwelcome and that is my Fathers house. Now, with COVID-19 happening worldwide a lot of us have been forced to stay home for months, so I’m not necessarily talking about the actual church building.
I’m talking about His presence.
You know that place where it’s just you and God. The place where nothing else matters, and all the noise of the world is silenced. The place where chaos is quieted, and all you feel is peace. Yes, that place.
Because of God’s unfailing love, I can enter His house – His presence. He loves you so much sweet woman of God, and He longs to spend time with you. The doors are always open and no one is turned away.
No awkward silences.
No rude comments.
No shaming or condemning.
Just love.
And it’s so easy to get there. All you have to do is simply speak “Jesus”
God, I long to be in Your presence today, so I call on your name – Jesus. Surround me, fill my home with more of You.

I really needed this today. I have been struggling so much with feelings of inadequacy lately and this morning I was being hit hard. I am so thankful for God’s “No judgement zone”
