“And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle what was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;” (Genesis 8:1 in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.)
Noah and company had been shut up in the ark for 40 days and nights. I’m sure he felt like God might have forgotten him. The cruise had become tiring and he was ready to disembark.
God always knows exactly what’s happening in our lives. He is with us before, during and after the storms. He remembers His own and cares for us.
Prayer: I am so glad that You remember me by name, Lord. To be remembered by You is so special!
