“They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.” (Psalm 112:7-8 from the NLT of the Holy Bible)
Wouldn’t it be great if we could all live as Psalm 112:7 describes? To not fear bad news – am I the only one whose heart beats just a little too quickly when the phone rings passed midnight? I don’t know that I can stop myself from being afraid. What I can do is be confident that no matter what comes my way, I will be able to walk through it because He is with me.
I am thankful today for a God who cares for me and will protect me in every situation. He sees MY needs and will answer me when I cry out to Him. Nothing can compare to the peace we find in Him.
Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for always walking with me. Help me to be confident in You, no matter what kind of problem I am going through. In Jesus name, amen.
