“He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow”
Psalms 18:34
Have you ever heard the saying “fake it ‘til you make it”? I have repeated this to myself so many times over the last few years. In moments of insecurity when I am about to try something new, I quietly whisper to myself “just fake it until you make it”
I don’t always feel equipped for what life throws my way. You truly don’t know what your day holds when you wake up each morning. Today, my four year old daughter got stung by a honeybee for the first time and my very pregnant, overly-emotional self did not handle it well.. at all.
When I woke up, I didn’t think to myself “if Gracie gets stung today this is what I’m going to do” I can guarantee I wouldn’t have planned to scream as loud as I did, or have my hands shake afterwards for as long as they did. (Not one of my finest moments ladies)
God is always prepared though. He knows the end from the beginning, and knows exactly what we need in each moment of our lives. He is never unsure of what to do in a situation, and He is never unprepared to help!
I am so thankful that even in moments of doubt and insecurity, God knows exactly what I need and helps me through each change life brings. (Including the great bumblebee fiasco of 2018)
Lord, I am so thankful that you are with me in every season of life. You never change, and You always want what is best for me.
