“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. Psalm 37:23-24
Still thinking about the Psalm that I looked at yesterday. The Lord delights in us not because of any goodness that is in us, but because we allow our steps to be ordered by the Lord. We will face times of trial and testing, we will falter and fail, but the Lord upholds us with His hand and gives us the strength to rise again and go on.
We can rest assured that He will never leave us nor forsake us, He knows the path He has planned for us and will safely guide us each step of the way. He not only goes before us to show us the way, but He holds our hand to keep us from falling.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for your hand that leads and guides us each step of the way.
