“Don’t for a minute envy careless rebels; soak yourself in the Fear-of-God – That’s where your future lies. Then you won’t be left with an armload of nothing.” (Proverbs 23:17-18 in The Message).
My dreams may not be coming true at this point in my life, but I must learn to continue on with a heart of contentment. Others may appear to be enjoying advancement, and perhaps they have received certain advantages, but they are nothing compared to this joy I have in God. I have been a recipient of God’s love and I’ve traded my sins for the expectation of making Heaven my home.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for protecting and providing for me. One day, in Your time, I will experience the fulfillment of my dreams. Amen!
