“I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.” Psalms 31:7 Have you ever felt at any point in your life that no one cared? I know, it sounds like such a “teenager” thing…
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25 NLT Today we celebrate Mom’s all across the world. We set aside some extra time to say “thank you” for every sacrifice they have made for us, every band-aid they put on our…
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isaiah 53:3, Holy Bible, King James Version) What do you think of when you hear the word rejected?…
“He healeth the broken hearted, and bindeth up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3) People are angry. Protests and violence run rampant on the streets of our cities. Hate fuels decisions, and makes people react in ways they typically wouldn’t. As I tried to sort out why these tragedies keep happening, one…
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified” (Isaiah 61:3).…
Micah 7:8 “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness the Lord shall be a light unto me.” I have always read this scripture incorrectly. For some reason, I always made “enemy” plural. I would read it in my mind…
“Lord, You have examined me and know all about me. You know my thoughts before I think them. You know where I go and where I lie down. You know thoroughly everything I do. Lord, even before I say a word, You know it” Psalm 139: 1-4 New Century Version
Even when nobody else knows, God knows. When you’re hurting, God knows.
When you’re lonely, God knows. When you’re afraid, God knows.
God knows what you are going to say, before you say it.
He knows. He cares. He’s waiting right now for you to talk to Him. Share your heart with Him. Tell Him your dreams. Tell Him your fears. He understands how you feel. He wanted you to know that.
Prayer: All Knowing God, I’m glad you know all about me and love me anyway. Teach me to share my deepest feelings with You.
