“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,” I…

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” Psalm 19:1 David wrote this verse many years ago, but for a lot of people here in our country, it was fulfilled recently (April 8) as they were able to view a total eclipse of the sun.…

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, in the King James Version).

Yesterday our skies were filled with clouds. They were dark clouds ready to burst into rain. Driving down the road to pick-up my husband from the airport, I said to my son who was with me, “Steve, look at all those clouds. Jesus could come back in those clouds. It’s a perfect set-up for His coming.”

A friend reminded us a few years ago that Jesus was coming back in the clouds. When our skies were not filled with sunshine, but when there were clouds.

So if your day is cloudy, look up with excitement because this could be the day He comes back!

Prayer: When I look up to see clouds, it gives me hope that this could be the day of Your return to gather Your saints. Thank You, Lord, for this blessed hope!
